Some kindergarten programs require pre-K children to take an ability test, often the
OLSAT (Otis-Lennon School Ability Test), for admission.

Parents can offer their child specialized preparation for the OLSAT by practicing six
skills assessed by the OLSAT
with the Kindergarten Test Study System (KTSS).

KTSS, developed by a Ph.D. testing specialist, prepares children to take the OLSAT
in a way that's fun and time efficient.

Although specifically for OLSAT preparation, KTSS skills are also prominent on ERB
tests, so KTSS offers good preparation for ERB tests as well (see FAQs).
KTSS gives you 7 folders, 6
covering the critical thinking skills
and one that is a practice test.

Each folder has two pockets: one
pocket has the child's materials
and the other pocket has an
adult's script that tells an adult
exactly what to say to help a child
learn and practice the skills at an
optimal level. No tutoring skill is
necessary, KTSS does all the
work for you.

Each folder takes no more than
45 minutes to complete. You can
complete the entire system in as
little as one week.
